S 2111 was introduced to the Senate on January 22, 2019. The House concurred the same day. The bill has been assigned to the Joint Transportation Committee.
Overcharging of fees for the use of electronic toll collection systems like E-ZPass has bedeviled drivers in recent years, particularly as cashless tolling systems are becoming more prevalent. This is a case in point. Motorists need protection against predatory schemes, and this bill is a step in the right direction.
