S 1376 was introduced to the Senate on January 22, 2019. The House concurred the same day. The bill was assigned to the Joint Public Safety and Homeland Committee.
The bill would allow Massachusetts communities to employ automated enforcement camera programs on roads or attached to school buses. The NMA opposes photo enforcement for these reasons. Photo enforcement is currently prohibited in the Commonwealth.
