Bill 6083 was introduced to the Florida State House on January 14, 2020. It has not been referred to a committee yet.
H 6083 would amend or repeal a number of sections in the Florida Statutes, Title XIII Motor Vehicles, effectively banning the state and localities within the state from operating red-light cameras. The NMA has long been opposed to the use of red-light cameras and photo enforcement in general, for a number of reasons. We support this bill.
