The National Motorists Association presents Driver Courtesy Month with a presentation of 15 animations developed by the NMA’s Driver Education Committee and freelance animator John Weeden.
Each of the five Fridays in September on the Driving in America Blog, we are presenting three of the animations. If you would like to see them all at once, click here. Check out the next three animations below:
Stop for Emergency Vehicles
Don’t forget you must pull over and stop for emergency vehicles whenever it is safe to do so. Remember–every second counts in an emergency! Not only is this courteous–it’s also the law.
Park between the Lines
Remember to park between the lines and give some room for yourself and other drivers every time you park.
Merge Courteously
When driving onto a highway, quickly match the speed of the traffic and merge safely in between vehicles. In a work zone, use the zipper merge to keep traffic flowing. Always merge courteously using your signal every time you drive.
Driving courteously every time you drive serves as a role model for other drivers and your children and grandchildren, too!
Thank you for your support of Driver Courtesy Month 2022 and of the National Motorists Association!
